H{ippity} Hop, November 29

Welcome to the H{ippity} Hop! You should have just come from the blog of the lovely and talented Sarah. In case you didn't, you can get the list and the rules on winning prizes at the Unity Stamp Company Blog.

Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of November? I can't!! That means I have to admit that Christmas is almost here and the house needs to be decorated. I am not one of those people who put up decorations in November and bakes cookies a month before Christmas so everything is perfect. No, I'm the kind of person who dreads all the stress of Christmas and hold off on anything to do with it, with the exception of the shopping, until I absolutely have to. My friends call me the Grinch or Scrooge, but that’s ok!! Halloween is my favourite time of the year so anyone of those would be good for that! Because of this I tried to hold off on the holiday stuff this time...just give a couple more days of denial!!

This time I decided to make a set of little note cards!

For this one I used the "Just Wanted To Say" set from Ippity. If you are interested in this set or any other you can visit my {ippity} site.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Now, continue on the hop to see what the wonderful Joan has created for you!

H{Ippity} Hop, November 22nd

Its Monday! That means it is time for the H{ippity} Hop to show you guys the beautiful things you can make with {ippity} stamps! You should have just come from the much talented Kelly. If not then you can start here at the beginning to get the rules and the lowdown on what prizes you can win!

So, I am still working hard on my Christmas cards. I went to a "Stamp-a-stack" party this past Friday but there are still a few personal cards that I have to make. I decided to make one to my in-laws from my kids and I think it turned out pretty good! I got the idea from a card on scrapbooks etc. and just tweaked it to meet my needs. Here it is!

For this one I used the small snowflake in the "Season of Joy" set to stamp the blue cardstock with using both silver and blue ink. I framed the picture to make it look like a polaroid shot and added a little bling to each snowflake.

If you are interested in this set or any of the others please visit my {ippity} page. Remember, if you purchase $40 worth you can get an additional set or an acrylic block for 45% off!

Now, go to the awesome Lynns page!!

Unity Friends with Flair, November 19th

Its time for the Friends with Flair blog hop again! Yay! For rules on how the blog hop works and how you can win prizes (yippee!!) visit the Unity Stamp Company Blog.

My project this week is not a card! As a long time scrapbooker I am pretty new to cards...I am even newer to altered projects. I figured the best way to not get bored with a hobby is to change it up a bit every now and then. Thats why I have ventured into the world of stamping in the last month and that's why I decided to do this altered notebook!

This is a christmas present for my 8-year-olds teacher. I hope she likes it!! I could not have done this without an awesome tutorial from The Stamp Doc, which you can find here. This woman is amazing! I also could not have created such a beautiful gift (in about 20 minutes!!) without {ippity} stamps. This time I used two sets: "Now and Always" and "Fall for You". They are wonderful sets that can be used in so many ways! I have paper pieced one of the flowers from the "Now and Always" set and fastened it together with a brad. The sentiment and corners are from the "Fall for You" set.

If you like these stamps be sure to check out my {ippity} page. I have all of these listed plus the new Fall 2010 collection that you are sure to love! Right now if you make a $40 purchase you can get an additional set or an acrylic block for 45% off!! So, be sure to check it out!

Now, go to Lynn to continue on with the hop!

Hip Hop, November 18th

YIPPEE!! Today is the day that we have all been waiting for! The new Fall 2010 Collection of {Ippity} stamps are available for everyone to get!! I hope you enjoy them!! I have created a project for this hop...unfortunatley I was a little late ordering the new release and, well, everyone knows that mail coming from the USA to Canada can take some time. So, I had to use the older releases which, if you haven't got them yet, are so worth getting!! I love each and every set of {Ippity} stamps that I have!

You should have came from the wonderful Jen Marie but if not, you can start at the beginning on the Unity Blog.

Here is my creation.

I used the "Season of Joy" {ippity} set again!! I couldn't resist it! There was a challenge over at SCS on the {ippity} forum to make a non-traditional colored christmas card so I thought that this set would be perfect. This has to be my favourite of the {ippity} sets that I own so far.

Up next on the hop is the talented Jen! I can pretty much guarentee you will like what she has created!!

If not and this is your first blog on the hop then you should start at the beginning so you can get the rules and the info on the prizes!! Yippee!! Everyone loves prizes, right? Don't forget the extra blog hop on Thursday, just in time for the brand new release for {ippity}! It is going to be awesome!

So, on to this blog hop!

You would not believe how tempted I was to do another Christmas card. I mean, it is just right around the corner, right? But, I stopped myself and figured I would break out another set. This time I ended up using two, "A Little Buggy" and "Fall For You". The bug that I used from "A Little Buggy" is so cute! The best thing is there are more cute bugs in that set that I cannot wait to try out! "Fall For You" is a great set too and the "happy birthday" stamps were perfect for my card! Anyways, here it is!

So, thats my creation! Now on to Lynn. I am sure she's got something great created for you!

Thanks!!

H{ippity} Hop, November 8

I cannot believe that the first week of November is gone already!! Wow! Time is going too fast! With the time flying like it is I started to think about what I will be sending to school with my 8-year-old at christmas for his classmates. I stumbled upon a tutorial for this lovely hot cocoa slider on Kerrys PaperCrafting Blog. You can visit the link to make these wonderful little gifts here. Make sure you take a look at the rest of Kerry's stuff...she is amazing!

I think the kids in Jarod's class will love them! These are the colors that I have picked for the girls...I don't think the boys would appreciate pink!! They are so quick and easy to do that I just may get Jarod to help me with them...wish me luck!

The stamps that I used are from the "Seasons of Joy" stamp set by {Ippity}. It seems to be my favourite set so far since this is twice that I have used that set in a week!

For a full list of names and to continue on the blog hop visit the Unity Opportunity Blog. Thanks for visiting my page!!!
