Unity Friends with Flair, November 19th

Its time for the Friends with Flair blog hop again! Yay! For rules on how the blog hop works and how you can win prizes (yippee!!) visit the Unity Stamp Company Blog.

My project this week is not a card! As a long time scrapbooker I am pretty new to cards...I am even newer to altered projects. I figured the best way to not get bored with a hobby is to change it up a bit every now and then. Thats why I have ventured into the world of stamping in the last month and that's why I decided to do this altered notebook!

This is a christmas present for my 8-year-olds teacher. I hope she likes it!! I could not have done this without an awesome tutorial from The Stamp Doc, which you can find here. This woman is amazing! I also could not have created such a beautiful gift (in about 20 minutes!!) without {ippity} stamps. This time I used two sets: "Now and Always" and "Fall for You". They are wonderful sets that can be used in so many ways! I have paper pieced one of the flowers from the "Now and Always" set and fastened it together with a brad. The sentiment and corners are from the "Fall for You" set.

If you like these stamps be sure to check out my {ippity} page. I have all of these listed plus the new Fall 2010 collection that you are sure to love! Right now if you make a $40 purchase you can get an additional set or an acrylic block for 45% off!! So, be sure to check it out!

Now, go to Lynn to continue on with the hop!

Love, Patricia
