Let's face it...Monday's suck, right? We just get over the weekend where we can (kinda) relax and then it is back to work and back to routine. The kids go back to school so then it is homework, lunches, and early bedtimes, which can be just as stressful to us as it is for the kids! At least there is one thing to look forward to on Mondays and that is the H{ippity} Hop!!! Most of you no the drill but for those who don't you should start over at the {ippity} blog for a list of participants so you don't miss any of the {ippity} inspiration.
The project I am going to show you today is a scrapbook layout! YAY! Scrapbook was my first passion when starting in the crafty world and I have been out of the scrapbooking for a couple of months now. But, with my newly found love of stamping I figured I would try it on a layout. I didn't go to crazy with the stamping...actually I only used one! LOL! I am still a little scared to use it on a layout...I don't want to mess it up. With this one I used a stamp as the title and cut it out of the white cardstock. Maybe one day I will get the courage to stamp ON my layout!!
I did this one for the Hippity Hop Twist Color Challenge as well. We were supposed to use red, white and blue. I added a little bit of kraft there but most of it will be covered up with my picture. Speaking of picture, I guess you noticed it was missing...my printer ran out of ink! ERRRRR!!!! Here is the picture that I am going to add...I will have it cropped to 5"X5".
And here is a close up of the stamp that I used!
The PEACE stamp is from the "Kissmas and Mistletoe" set from the Fall 2009 collection. I am not really sure where the quote sticker came from...I got it one ebay a looooooong time ago!! Remember, if you are interested in ippity and would like to purchase this stamp set or any others you can check out my sales blog!
Thank you for visiting my blog! Now, continue on the hop to see the others!
Love, Patricia

Great use of the stamp for your LO title. I know what you mean about not wanting to screw it up... I have started to stamp on mine, and some I like and some I don't, but they all go in the book as it is a learning process and a work of art! There is no wrong move in a work of art!
very nice! love the use of Ippity on the scrapbook page!
