Double The Chance To Win A Prize!

I don't create to win prizes...I love the feeling of using my hands to make something out of bits of paper, glue, and ink. It is awesome! But...with that said...I love winning prizes too! Who don't!! So, with the new challenge over at Jingle Belles I get to create AND get not one, but TWO chances to win some awesome prizes! That's because they have teamed up with Sketchy Thursdays for this week and when you create a card with ST's sketch and make it into a Christmas card to post on JB, you can post the SAME card on two places!! Hence, doubling your chance to win a prize!

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

That awesome background paper was sent to me along with a ton of other beautiful paper by Angie (auntangie on SCS). She is so sweet!! Thank you Angie!!

I love this chipboard snowflake!! I have a ton of stickers that I have not been using lately so, as an attempt to use up what I already have, I am trying to use more stickers.

These stamps are from the Unity set called "Let it Snow".

Now, I want to show you what my "craft area" looks like right now.

This space also doubles as one section of my counter and my stove. But, mostly, its my craft area! Oh, I cannot wait for the day to come when my craft room is completed down in the basement.

All of this stuff was dragged out of bedroom to make ONE card!

I am just glad that there is more counter space in case someone wants to, I don't know, MAKE FOOD in the kitchen!!

So that's it for today. I will have another post on Monday for the Hippity Hop. See you then!

Love, Patricia

Love the card,Patricia! I love how the snowflake and snowman pops out from the background!! ( You think he could say "let it rain" instead of snow... !!!!)lol
BTW, my craft room ( repurposed my DD's room!!!) is small but I have it so jammed packed with stuff, it's nearly impossible to keep neat!!! Oh well, that's the price we pay for creativity!!! ;)
TFS!

ok, i'm totally chuckling over your "craft area" pics b/c A) i work in my living room, which also has to function as MY LIVING ROOM...and B) i also routinely get out that much stuff to make one card. i feel bizarrely validated that i am not the only one. ♥THANK YOU♥!!! :)

now as for the card, well, HECK people can order take out but clearly the kitchen space needs to be used for fabulous cardmaking endeavors such as this! i LOVE the paper, and especially that cool snowflake! ♥!!!

Patricia,
Thanks for your comments on my "hands" creations. I am laughing with you at your kitchen counter. I remember those days and I would drag everything out to the dining room table, yes, for ONE card. You will really enjoy your space when you get it created. We are in the middle of a HUGE snowstorm right now. 8-12" already have about six and the winds are terrible. 45mph. It'a a good day to be stamping.

Kudos to you, dear, for creating your craft space! Seriously, you are a dedicated crafter and that's wonderful to see. I have found a kindred spirit - I pull out tons of stuff when I'm creating something. It's creative inspiration. I hope your craft room is done soon!

Your card is really cool (oh, that's a bad pun - unintended - LOL). seriously, I love the happy vibe of it and it looks great!
